Ingredients
- Flour:- 115 gm
- Sugar:- 115 gm
- Eggs:- 2 no
- Fat:- 85 gm
- Baking Powder:- 1/4 tsp
- Dates:- 200 gm
- Walnut:- 50 gm
- Soda Bi carb:- 1/4 tsp
- Hot water:- 50 ml

- cream fat with flour till it comes to a creamy texture along with baking powder.
- Dip the dates in hot water so as to extract maximum flavor. Now crush the walnuts.
- Beat eggs along with sugar till the time that sugar is completely dissolved and forms a ribbon consistency.
- Mix beaten egg into the flour and fat mixture.
- Mash the dates and water mixture and then add to cake tin.
- Add finely chopped walnuts.
- Bake at temperature of 350-375 F for 40 -45 minutes.
- Garnish with broken walnut before baking.
