Finding it tough to manage your kids vegetable intake? here is a unique way of keeping a tab on their diet by feeding them right proportion of green veggies.
this one is easy to digest and full of nutrients... so relish..
INGREDIENTS(pasta)
- Macaroni 180gms(1pkt)
- 2 tsp oil for boiling pasta
- salt to taste
INGREDIENTS(sauce)
- 1 medium size capsicum
- 5 to 6 medium size mushrooms
- 5 to 6 french beans
- 1 medium size carrot
- 1/2 floret broccoli
- 1/2 small size green cabbage
- 100 gms shelled green peas
- 2 medium size onions
- 5 to 6 medium size ripe tomatoes
- few coriander leaves
- few mint leaves
- salt to taste
- 3 tsp oil
- 1 tbsp tomato ketchup
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
- 1 tsp red chilly powder
MEHOD:
- Boil the macaroni with salt and oil for 7-8 minutes
- Drain and run cold water through. Keep it aside
- Boil peas
- Slice the vegetables
- Grate the tomatoes
- Saute onions in oil till they are light pink
- add the grated tomatoes spices and the vegetables
- saute these vegetables till oil leaves the pan
- add the tomato ketchup and the boiled macaroni with peas
- garnish with coriander and mint leaves
- serve it hot
