Accompaniment for last recipie

hi, friends i'm back agian after celebrating indipendence day. I had fabulous food during past couple of days & then one thing came to my mind, oh! my friends must be waiting for me at my blog. so, i rushed here. I promised to give you the recipie for the accompaniment of malpua.

SO, HERE IT IS!!

Ingredients
  • Milk- 1.5 ltr
  • Grated Khoya-100gm
  • sugar-100gm
  • green cardamom- a pinch
  • saffron- a few strands
  • pistachio(blanched & chopped)- 20 gm
  • kewra water- 3-4 drops

METHOD

  • heat milk in kadhai on moderate flame.
  • stir continously till the milk reduces to 1/5th
  • add khoya and cook on very low heat for 2-3 minutes
  • stirring continously till khoya gets dissolved
  • add sugar & cardamom powder & stir till sugar is completely dissolved
  • remove from heat & transfer to serving dish.
  • allow to cool & refrigerate
  • garnish with saffron, pistachios, kewra & serve.
